REQUIRED ACKNOWLEDGMENT

If authorized the day of the burn property owner/designate for permit must notify Fire Dispatch at 519-245-1300, to inform them of an authorized burn taking place on the property.

When completed or fire is extinguished notify Fire Dispatch at 519-245-1300.

Note any violations of the burn permit requirements may result in fines at the established rate of MTO for equipment plus manpower-minimum charge will be $2500.00 plus the permit applicant may also be charged under the associated by-laws incurring all associated fines or legal action.

Burn permits are subject to inspection by the fire department and municipal by-law officers to ensure compliance and may be withdrawn at any time.
